2016 Workshop
In order to strengthen the program’s impact and broaden its scope, in August 2016 Ayitic will launch the third edition of its workshop, this time with a new approach: training trainers. The program will work to strengthen knowledge among professionals currently teaching at technical institutes or in key positions within local technology companies, who will be able to transmit this knowledge to other colleagues and professionals. This new approach seeks to achieve a spillover effect, where the instructors trained through Ayitic will replicate their knowledge, thus broadening the program's scope and increasing its impact.

Selection Process
Following the new approach for training trainers, the program seeks to train individuals with the potential to replicate their knowledge within formal and informal education and training environments. The program has been designed with two target groups in mind:
Experts and professionals currently teaching at technical institutes and universities.
Experts and professionals working in ICT companies who have the opportunity to replicate their knowledge within their own working environments.
Companies interested in training their employees must pay a registration fee. The selection process for the first group will be implemented with the help of the institutions themselves. Ayitic will invite local technical institutes to participate in the program. In turn, these institutes will nominate the trainers that would like to receive training. Selected participants and the institutions that nominated them must agree to replicate the materials offered by the program through at least two training initiatives of their own.
